2022 Titans Game Recap

The Titans went 0-3 to start the season before defeating the Colts on October 2. The team turned around their season, winning the next four games before losing to the Chiefs on November 6. From there, the team went 2-7 to finish out the year. That meant there would be no Wild Card game for the Titans. Derrick Henry continues to be the stand-out player for the team. He had 13 touchdowns and 1538 running yards in 2022. He averaged 4.8 yards per carry. Quarterback Malik Willis played in five games in 2022. Joshua Dobbs started as the Titans quarterback for two games. Once the titans settle on their starting quarterback for 2023, the team will look to improve on defense.

Titans 2021 Season Review

The Tennessee Titans won the AFC South division title. Their 12-5 record was tied for best in the AFC. The Titans defense was one of the strongest in the league. Derrick Henry’s injury in week eight was a big blow to a powerful weapon for the Titans. The week after Henry’s injury the team took down the L.A. Rams, Saints, and Texans. Losing only to the Steelers after the Henry injury showed that this team is more than one key player. The team found a way to win and went on to play against the Bengals in the NFL Divisional round.

In the free-agent market, the Titans picked up Robert Woods, a veteran wide receiver. The Titans gave up a seventh-round pick for Woods. Austin Hooper comes to Tennessee via Cleveland. Julio Jones was let go after one season. Rodger Saffold parted ways with the Titans, saving over 10 million in salary.
