Broncos Home Games In 2023

The Denver Broncos will face the NFC North teams for the 2023 season. They will host the Vikings on November 19, and the Packers on October 22. The Patriots will come to Empower Field on December 24, and the Browns will play at Denver on November 27.  

Concerts at Empower Field in 2024

Coming to Empower field for the 2024 concert season include Zach Bryan on June 14 & 15. Morgan Wallen will also play two nights at the stadium, June 27 & 28. Kenny Chesney will bring his Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour to Denver on July 27. Foo Fighters will perform on August 3. 

Empower Field by the Numbers

76,125 Broncos fans can fit inside Empower Field at Mile High Stadium on game day. This venue was completed in 2001 and replaced the old "Mile High Stadium." Twelve years after its opening, the venue was renovated at a cost of just over 30 million dollars. The Broncos won Super Bowl 50 and found a home-field advantage to be too much for rivals in the playoffs that led up to that special game. Every home game at Mile High has been sold out since opening in 2001. 

Like many NFL stadiums, Empower Field at Mile High has played host to international soccer games. The first was a game between the United States and Mexico, in front of 48,476 fans. The latest soccer game to be held was on June 6, 2001, once again between the United States and Mexico. Former professional teams to call Empower Field their home stadium include the Colorado Rapids and Denver Outlaws.  

The first concert to be held there was the Eagles, on August 11, 2001. 52,217 fans enjoyed the music. The Rolling Stones were the last band to perform at Empower Field, and that was in front of 58,000+ fans of rock and roll. 

In December of 2022, it was announced that fans would enjoy a 100 million dollar upgrade to the stadium, with all construction being completed before the start of the 2023 season. Like most stadiums, improvements to the video replay screens come first. At the field level, a new hospitality club was constructed.
