The Golden 1 Center had its first event on September 30, 2016. At a cost of just over 558 million, the venue is supported by an entertainment district that brings thousands of visitors to the area each year. For concerts, the venue can seat up to 19,000 people. There are just under three dozen luxury suites in the venue and another 48 standard "loft" suites on the property. The Sacramento Kings call the Golden 1 Center their home court. For the best view of the action on the court, we suggest that you sit in the following sections: 119-121 and 106-108. Upper-level seats are also a great option, as long as you try to sit in sections 217-219 or 204-206. For end-stage concerts, sections 106 and 122 are just to the right of the stage.
Three transit lines can be used to get to the Golden 1 Center. The Gold, Green, and Blue lines drop you right at the venue's doors. A large number of fans leave their cars behind when they travel to the venue. It's estimated that up to 15% of the venue's visitors arrive by walking, biking, or using public transportation. With its downtown location, it's very easy to get to the venue by numerous means.
