State Farm Stadium is the home field of the Arizona Cardinals football team. The NCAA's Fiesta Bowl is also held there every year.
State Farm Stadium opened on August 1, 2006. The total cost to build the stadium was 455 million dollars. Since that time, there have been two renovations. The first came in 2014, and the second in 2017. The seating capacity is currently 63,400. For larger events, the capacity can be increased to 72,200 seats. The stadium has a dome that brings in natural light but also keeps the venue cool in the late summer months. The material of the roof is called Birdair fabric. This year, the Cardinals announced their renovation plans for two luxury clubs in each endzone and additional seating near the tunnel and along the field. There are currently 88 luxury lofts, with space for an additional 16 if needed. Surrounding the stadium are roughly 26,000 parking spaces.
Special events such as concerts, soccer, Monster Jam, Fiesta Bowl, and the Super Bowl have taken place at State Farm Stadium from year to year. One unique feature is the football playing field. The field is movable and will be rolled in for gameplay. It's rolled back out of the stadium for sunlight and rain.
Coming to State Farm Stadium in 2024 include AMA Supercross, Monster Jam, and Post Malone.
