TIAA Bank Field opened in 1995 and was first named Jacksonville Municipal Stadium. It's the home stadium for the Jacksonville Jaguars football team and the AEW. In 1997, naming rights were bought by the Alltel communications company. That lasted until 2006. In 2018, the stadium was named TIAA Bank Field when EverBank was acquired by TIAA. The venue seats 67,814 fans for football games and can be fitted to hold 82,000 people for concerts and special events.
During construction, portions of the old Gator Stadium that sits on the same site were retained. The NCAA Gator Bowl is held at TIAA annually, along with the annual Florida-Georgia football game.
